1) Sponsor & Timing
The sweepstakes/contest (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Manhattan INT’L TRADE INC. and Kyodan Active(collectively, the “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or TikTok.
The Sweepstakes begins on the stated start date (ET) and ends on the stated end date (ET) (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official time-keeping device.
2) Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory and are at least 18 years old. (No U.S. entrants—kyodan.ca does not ship to U.S. addresses.)
Not eligible: employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor and its affiliates, partners, retailers, distributors, advertising/marketing agencies, and their immediate family/household members.
3) How to Enter (No Purchase Necessary)
Internet access and, if applicable, an Instagram or TikTok account are required (message/data rates may apply).
During the Sweepstakes Period, complete the steps listed in the official post (for example, on Instagram):

Tag a friend in the comments, and/or

Follow us on TikTok @kyodanactive.
That counts as one (1) entry.
Bonus entries: Share the official post publicly to your Instagram Story, tag @kyodanactive, and include any required hashtag for one (1) additional entry per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Stories must be public to be eligible.
Entry limits: One base entry per person + one bonus entry per day. Use of multiple accounts, bots, scripts, or automated methods disqualifies all related entries. One (1) Instagram account and one (1) TikTok account per person.
Entries must be received within the Sweepstakes Period. Late, invalid, or non-public entries are void. Entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned.
4) Content Rules & License
All entry content (comments, images, video, name, handle, likeness, etc., “Participant Content”) must not: violate laws; be false/misleading; defamatory, obscene, or offensive; promote hatred, violence, illegal activity, or discrimination; use third-party IP (logos, marks, images) without permission; identify third parties without consent; or otherwise be inappropriate in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
By entering, you grant Sponsor and its designees a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display the Participant Content (in whole or in part) in any media now known or later developed for marketing and promotional purposes, and to use your name/handle and likeness in connection with such use.
5) Prize
The prize (“Prize”) for each Sweepstakes will be described in the official post. The Prize must be accepted as awarded; no substitutions or cash redemption, except at Sponsor’s discretion (Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal/greater value). Prizes are not merchandise purchases and are not eligible for returns/exchanges under our Returns & Exchanges policy.
Any costs not expressly stated as included are the Winner’s responsibility. Canadian shipping addresses only (no U.S. addresses). Prize images in ads may differ from the actual Prize. Manufacturer warranty (if any) applies.
6) Winner Selection & Odds
On or about the stated end date, at Sponsor’s offices (1650 Trans-Canada Highway, Saint-Laurent, Québec H4T 1X5), Sponsor will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries received. Odds depend on the number of eligible entriesreceived.
7) Notification & Claim
Potential winner(s) will be contacted by Instagram/TikTok direct message within 2 days of the draw. To be declared a Winner, the selected entrant must:

respond within 2 days;

correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question (telephone or electronic); and
-
complete, sign, and return Sponsor’s declaration of eligibility/liability & publicity release within 7 days of receipt.
Failure to complete any requirement, ineligibility, or non-response will result in forfeiture, and an alternate entrant may be selected.
Prize delivery: by courier to a Canadian address provided by Winner.
8) Social Platform Disclaimers
Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and TikTok (TikTok Inc.) are not sponsors or administrators of this Sweepstakes. By entering, you release Instagram and TikTok from any responsibility or liability related to this Sweepstakes.
9) Limitation of Liability & Release
By participating, you release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates/agents, Instagram, and TikTok from any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation or Prize acceptance/use, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, or printing/administrative errors. If an entry is lost/destroyed/corrupted, your sole remedy may be a replacement entry (if feasible).
10) Privacy
Personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Sponsor for the purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and Prize fulfillment, and otherwise in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on kyodan.ca. By accepting a Prize, Winner consents to Sponsor’s use of Winner’s name, city, statements, and likeness for publicity without additional compensation, where permitted by law.
11) Right to Modify/Suspend/Terminate
If the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned for any reason (e.g., fraud, technical failures, tampering), Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify it (subject, where applicable, to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for Québec residents). Sponsor may, in its discretion, draw from eligible non-suspect entries received up to the time of such action.
12) General Conditions
Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these rules or the spirit of the Sweepstakes. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE/SOCIAL ACCOUNT OR UNDERMINE THE SWEEPSTAKES IS PROHIBITED AND MAY RESULT IN CIVIL/CRIMINAL LIABILITY.
13) Law & Jurisdiction
Subject to applicable laws, these rules are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Montréal, Québec. For Québec residents: any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie for a ruling; any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie solely to help the parties reach a settlement.
14) Winners List
To request a winners list, email hello@kyodan.ca with subject line “Contest/Giveaway Winners” within 90 days after the Sweepstakes end date.
