As other reviews state, this bra is super soft and I'd say that the sizing is quite accurately true to size. I have also washed this in cold gentle cycle about 10 times now, and the form of the bra has not changed. Sadly, for me, I noticed a few things that I did not find comfortable or versatile.
(1) I think someone else also noted this, but I bought the white one and the "bra pad" is 100% visible. As a result, I do not wear this alone and do in fact wear it as a "traditional" bra. The pictures make it seem you could wear it like yoga / work-out wear alone, but I do not think that is possible with the white one.
(2) The band at the bottom does sort of "roll up". Not a lot, but it won't stay put like the pictures show.
(3) The seam on the shoulder band is a bit weirdly placed (right at where your chest stops and goes into your shoulders), and it is fairly "thick". Because of this, if you wear a top that is fairly thin in fabric, all that is visible.
(4) I don't find this with other Kyodan bras but for this one, I find the inner rubber band (for the "bra" portion to be held up a bit) to lead to an itch.
